Anass Nouri earned his M.Sc. degree in Intelligent Systems and Image Analysis from the University of Poitiers (France) in 2013, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Caen Normandy University in France in 2016. Between 2016 and 2017, he served as an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at the National School of Engineering of Caen (ENSICAEN), affiliated with the Greyc Laboratory (UMR 6072), focusing his research on 3D mesh analysis. From 2017 to 2018, Nouri was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institut du Thorax Lab (UMR 1087) and RMES Lab (UMR 1229) at the University of Nantes, concentrating on the development of automatic detection and characterization techniques for 3D bifurcations to predict intracranial aneurysms. In the period from 2018 to 2019, he held the position of Associate Professor of Computer Science at the ISEN School of Engineering (Institut Supérieur de l’Electronique et du Numérique) in Brest/France and was part of the Vision research team at L@bIsen. Anass Nouri has been awarded two international patents and has contributed to over 18 papers at referred international conferences, five in international journals, and one book chapter. He teaches courses in computer programming, image analysis, and machine learning. His research now focuses on 2D and 3D image/volume processing, visual saliency, objective quality assessment, medical imaging, and machine learning.
